Advanced Squad Leader tutorial. The First Line German Squad

Advanced Squad leader is the premier tactical board game with regards to World War 2. You can recreate and battle from 1911 through the 1950′ s all using the same system. This is truly a work of art in the design of the game from the rules which can handle almost any battlefield situation, to the maps which are two dimensional depictions of our three dimensional world and to the counters which can represent a single man to a squad of 10-15 men. These all come together in a system that is second to none with regards to playability and replay ability. No 2 games are ever the same. You can play a short game in a couple of hours or you can play a game that lasts for days. This great game all starts with the 10 man squad, just like in the real army. With that in mind lets start our tutorial on Advanced Squad Leader, known as ASL.

The most common soldier seen on the ASL battlefield is the First line German squad.
